Ota Chineme Joy, of Ohafia Girls Model Secondary School Emerges Abia Sate One day Governor 2018

ABIA STATE ONE DAY TEENAGE GOVERNOR, DEP. GOVERNOR AND COMMISSIONERS .

Joy overflowing, overwhelming, highly phenomenal, beautiful memories created, mixed emotions, all encapsulated in the just concluded “ONE DAY GOVERNOR ESSAY COMPETITION 2018”, which was highly a huge success. Finally the battle necessarily wasn’t for the strong neither was it for the brave, but rather the will to make a concrete change even if you just had a day to do it. Pure passion was exuberant, the intent to excel shown. Whilst we were in awe of how a public school emerged at the top of the chain, with her name been Ota Chineme Joy, from Ohafia Girls Model Secondary School Amaekpu Ohafia.

As expressed by Mr. Prosper Maduba the PA.to The Teenage Adviser to the Governor,  "We certainly did come to a concise conclusion that our educational system in the public schools has what it takes to take over the educational sector in not just only Abia state, but Nigeria at large".

Of a truth, the event which was held at Vicar Hope Foundation Center Umuahia on 3rd December 2018 was a total success; words basically can’t even give in details the importation of the qualities of leadership, stern discipline or the ability of the students to totally find an expression in their inner self to give out all they have.

Special thanks to the amiable governor of our dear beloved state, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, for totally yielding to this initiative of grooming young teenagers into becoming better persons and grooming them into becoming leaders even in the very little way they can express.

Also to the  Special Adviser to the Governor on Teenage Matters, Mrs. Chinemenma Umeseaka, for creating the initiative to enlighten the younger generations on the essence of morality, leadership and decorum.

With heart full with gratitude to God, we say a very big thank you to the organizers of the events, even down to the participants of the competition, you were all amazing.
